We had work done on my toilet in the region of a month ago. I can still smell sewer fumes in in attendance, but I've recently quit smoking so my sense of smell is terrifically sensitive. My parents' senses are very dull and I can't convince them of how discouraging it really smells. They won't call the plumber fund because "There's nothing to convey him to do." The fumes get really impossible when I turn on the fan. I haven't gotten sick even so, but I've read that it's quite possible. Is here anything I can do myself, like caulk the floor seam? Or should I basically insist on calling the plumber back?
Answers:    Call the plumber final to fix his work. There should be no way for sewer gas to draw from into your house from a properly installed toilet.
Call the plumber back. I've worked on greatly of toilets and that's not normal. It nouns like the wax ring didn't trademark right.
