Toilet cistern drains adjectives the time? I kept hearing the container kick contained by and fill up. ...

I kept hearing the container kick contained by and fill up. I started keeping an eye on things. The sea drains down in the reservoir, then it kick in the system that cause the water to come subsidise up to the water smooth again. This goes on adjectives day. I bought a flapper thingie to replace my behind the times one, and put it in closing night. It's supposed to be extra worthy for harsh hose. Everything looked fine, it was a simple procedure to put contained by the flapper, the chain is not too loose or too tight. All should work powerfully. However, the problem continues...the water go down below water rank, then the cistern kicks contained by and fills the hose back up. so, I only just shut off the wet to the tank for the dark so that my water bill won't be a million dollars. What could be the problem? Do i obligation to buy a whole contraption that fits in the reservoir? Will that be hard to do or require tools etc.? i be hoping the flapper would solve the problem and this wouldn't get harder. ACK!! Thanks for suggestion.
Turn stale the water, drain the container and coat the flapper with Vaseline. It worked for me on two different job.

Feel for grooves/rough spots in the form
the flapper seals against.

If the form isn't perfectly smooth
(and any deposits won't bit off w/a fingernail)
install a replacement form.

They're easy to install - betcha the folks at the hardware/home progress store would be more than willing to distribute directions if nicely asked...
Answers:    Ah! All of above are good answers, BUT one other potential problem.
You should hold a small rubber hose line that go from the fluidmaster/water valve within the tank, to the overflow/bowl compress tube. Normally, this refills the bowl after a flush. IF the hose is down surrounded by the overflow tube below the level of river in the reservoir, it can cause the reservoir to siphon water out.
SO, try pulling this hose completely up and out of the overflow tube. Keep it up, and see if the draining stops. If so, cut the hose shorter so it cannot progress down the overflow tube as far!
