From a college kid in an unusual circumstance... I won't catch into all the intimate details but essentially the tank of my toilet get cracked. The crack broke the tank into two seperate pieces, I tried caulking it rear legs together but it wouldn't hold water. So in a minute I have completely removed the cistern from the bowl. The water is undoubtedly shut off and I inevitability to purchase a new container. In the mean time, I NEED TO FLUSH what is within the bowl. I know that the bowl flushes with a cyphen effect so here is what I be thinking. If I buy one of those tanks of dampen, generally used to hook up to drinking marine coolers and placed it over the hole leading from my bowl to where on earth the tank once be... allowing the water to speedily fill the bowl, would this work within flushing the toilet? Or am I missing some key concept that would not allow this method to work properly? Please comfort!
Just pour a bucket of dampen into the bowl (quickly). It will flush itself.
Use a bucket and dump something like a gallon or so of water right into the bowl.
It doesn't necessitate to go surrounded by where the container was........
Answers: a) fill a bucket next to water from a thump.
b) empty the bucket into the toilet.
c) repeat if required.
