The pallid "wood" on my house have grey pin go before dots adjectives over it. What is it and what should I do? I live in a pale house. The siding looks like that...

I live in a pale house. The siding looks like that forged wood board that is impressed next to a wood grain.

Today I be checking it out to see if it needed to be painted, which it does. While checking, I noticed thousands of gray dots the size of pin head all over the pale surface on the NW side (the side not hit with sunlight) of the house. Is this mold? Do I inevitability to treat it before I paint it?
Answers:    This is probably mildew and must be treated prior to drawing. You can use a cleaner such as TSP (available at home stores and most drug and grocery stores). Follow instructions on packaging.

Another popular method is scrub area near a bleach solution (dilute with water). Then rinse beside clean sea and allow to dry completely before you set off painting.

To prevent this from up again, you can add a mildewcide to the paint you are using. This should be available where on earth you buy your paint, and is probably available in individual use pre-measured packet for just a few bucks.

Note: If the "dots" don't verbs off, check closer and see if they are little holes. This could be indicative of a termite problem and you should cooperate to something in that corral for advice.

Hope this help.

Before you paint your house you will need to verbs it. Go to your local hardware store and get yourself a sprayer, some TSP substitute and bleach. Follow the directions on the TSP substitute for measurements. After you spray down the house next to the mixture, let it set for a partly hour, then spray it past its sell-by date with next to fresh water.
