I went to Lowes and they suggested I want to go to the door installers
Answers: We entail a little more detail, here.
Is this a sliding court door screen?
Do you tight-fisted the top of the door itself, or the guiderail (aka 'track') in the frame, or the jamb itself?
If you can post a photo knit, it would help. Or you could email a photo to me, and I would be bullish to offer what assist I could.
I know you can get replacement wheel, and track at places like Lowe's, or hardware stores, sometimes even contemporary screen frames/doors. All Lowe's stores do not necessarily transport the same inventory, tho, so what may be available online, or at one store, may not be carried at another Lowe's. Thus their suggestion to step to the 'installer' may be the best that particular store can do. I intuitively would look to the manufacturer tho, a bit than the installer, for new parts. Speaking of which, do you know the brand of door you've get? There should be a manufacturers sign on it somewhere, usually inside the framework.
I'll check back after that to see if you've added anything.
Good Luck
Checking back as promised. Thank You for the more information!
Ok, this is obviously an 'after market' appendage. That guide rail almost looks close to it is mounted to the outside of the door, therefore you're not going to find the parts at any local Lowe's or hardware store. Your best bet is to progress to the manufacturer.
I tried to verbs up a 'contact form' at the Champion door/window website, but apparently their link is broken, lol, and they don't enjoy any obvious emails to contact. They do, however, hold a list of stores contained by various states, that DO enjoy emails, so you should be able to contact the one nearest to you, for parts/service. (I double checked the one timetabled for Missouri, and they do have an email scheduled for the store in St.Louis)
Here is the join to the list of stores - http://champion.webfeat.net/StoreLocatio...
Good Luck !
Parts for eyeshade doors and storm doors can usually be gotten at door installation companies. Even Lowe's will carry some of the more needed parts, close to handles and springs. but they freshly don't have the space or the souk for carrying each little piece.
Go to the door specialty shop to bring the parts.
