I have two garage openers and at first I thought they weren't working so I go and bought batteries. I unplugged the garage plug and after reset the limit /force dials. Now the door is raise but at hip level. I use the door introduction on the wall.

The cable might have flipped and started wrapping around the shaft our the spring above the door might be broken. If this is the overnight case I highly recommend calling surrounded by professionals to fix the problem as the tension on the spring can be extremely dodgy.
Repost if it is not one of the two of these I and will give you a few other possible problems. I am betting the spring is broken.
Disconnect the motor drive from the door (there is a lever, usually near a cord attached, to do this) and try to operate the door by hand. If the springs are functioning properly, it should be capable of both open and close the door next to a modest effort -- which won't alteration much, depending on the position of the door. If this is not the case, name a professional door service for help; the springs are indigestible and dangerous to work on unless you enjoy the requisite skills and tools.
