There is a drainage pipe that leaves the unit(not the tray from what i see) and drains water.. i see the river dripping form it outside. but for whatever use the drip tray was bursting with river also.. it ook sliek the water is seep out of the bottom of the unit into the tray... I own no idea if thi is majority or not.i do know that part of the tray be bent and it appears.. that thats where the river was coming from... any one enjoy any ideas as to why the tray have so much water surrounded by it? my home is 2 years old, and this own never happened b4.
Answers: There is also a tray inside the section with a drain pipe to the outside. When the drain become clogged, that pan overflows into the jar under the component which also should have a pipe to the outside. The internal drain is, without a doubt, clogged or at least to a degree so and causing the condensate to rear up and overflow. The drains are maintenance problems and stipulation to be checked each spring. I similar to to pour a bit of bleach in them to hold mold from building up and keep the bugs out. While he;s at it he can clear the drainage problem. Attic AC's are solely good for two things, ruining ceiling and being a distress to access..
