Fridge is a whirlpool side-by-side. This morning I notice that the stuff in the freezer be melting. The compressor run continuously and there be a constant clicking sound every five minutes or so.
We cleaned out the dust beneath and inwardly the grill panel of the fridge, then put it put a bet on together and I left for work. When I come home, the freezer appeared to have worked fine -- stuff be definitely frozen and the refrigerator side feel very cool. About two hours subsequently, I came fund in and it be back to the adjectives "constant fan, constant clicking" item. I noticed that the freezer is starting to soften again too.
Is this a thermostat issue or perhaps a electric wiring issue? I'm assuming the actual compressor works because for half a daylight, the fridge ran fine.
Answers: if the fridge does not create the clicking noise when everything is frozen and it just makes the clicking rumpus when everything is thawing out. this is a impressively good sign that the start relay or the capacitor is going bad(if it have a capacitor)..the clicking noise is the overload on the compressor channel up and shutting off the compressor that could not start properly...
its doubtful that the compressor is running. the clicking commotion most likely is the overload on the compressor turning on and sour...this usually means you have need of a new start relay or capacitor if it have one. what you hear running all the time is the aficionado that is subsequent top the compressor.
