I have a cracked skylight in a bedroom. I can't afford to replace it right presently, but with winter coming is nearby anything temporary I can do? (aside from plastic)

Answers: Perhaps an alternative to replacement of the cup is to go to a place close to WalMart and get a roll of clear Contac tabloid. Cut a piece large adequate to fit the whole panel and apply the Contac to the glass. It will be clear satisfactory not to be unsightly and it will keep out any drafts until you can receive new glass glass.
clear duct cassette will keep out the drafts, although it is fairly ugly. But regard as about this: a pane of chalice is not that expensive
