Why does my hot water stroke run slowly sometimes. I have a combination boiler. What can be done to prevent this please?
Answers: Combination boilers own flow restrictors and flow regulators on them, sounds silly, but an awful lot of installers don't know about them (this is because they are not plumbers and just have a elemental knowledge), if the cold water pressure is immensely good, any one of the above is set wrong or blocked, the gas pipe is too small so the boiler is compensating by reducing the water flow rate, or it is of late an undersized boiler, make and model would serve.
