Swimming pool - low ph + high-ranking alkalinity + no chlorine?

Inground swimming pool. Test shows low ph but high alkalinity. I've put in several rounds of Ph Higher and it's for a time better but still a little low . Alkalinity has be consistently high. I'm confused because I read for high alkalinity you should affix acid, but that will lower the Ph even more. Also I keep calculation shock and the level is ok for a day but later next day no chlorine registers. Cyanuric sour level is good, for a while high if anything but barely. Is chlorine loss due to low ph?? Help!!
Shock will not bring up you chlorine for long you need to procure granulated chlorine and add the amount that it says for start up, do this first until you own consistent chlorine then adjust the ph.

near is a product by united chemical called " PH up"...it raise the PH a lot but raises alkilinity thoroughly little.use the PH UP to raise the PH,then affix acid to lower both together it may take a few tries... u want to never agian ask those ask abt your pool water?? email me at info(a)itsallhollywood.com and il tell u how to swim contained by chemical free water all year with no maintanence ... chemicals r a thing of olden times now, swim in pure unpolluted water, thats my suggestion
Answers:    Don't verbs the terms "basic" and "alkaline". Basic is the opposite of bitter - pH above 7 is "basic" and pH below 7 is "acidic".

Alkalinity is the measure of the amount of Bicarbonate + Carbonate + Hydroxide ions in your sea. At a pH of 7 or slightly below, you won't have any Hydroxide or Carbonate, but you can have the Bicarbonate ion. If you own a lot of bicarbonate from hard marine, you will need to add lots of soda ash to the river in order to increase the pH, as the Bicarbonate ion act as a "buffer" to resist changes in pH.

My guess is your total dissolved solids are surrounded by the 1000-2000 ppm range. Your best bet may be to regularly backwash the pool, and replace some of the water near new water.
