yes i am haveing trouble with draw from my blades to ingage i replace the pto switch but that did not help does anyone know what it would be appreciation for the help
I had duplicate problem occur several times on my STX38. I first suspected the switch, but after replacing it here still was no engagement. I afterwards took it to my local Deere dealer and they informed me that it be a loose ground, and fixed the problem. A few months later it happen again, but this time I was competent to track down the location of the loose ground and fix it.

: You should still check the switch and the safety cut-off nouns under your form. Good luck.

It could be a shot PTO clutch. I assume it's an electrically actuated clutch that engage when you turn on the PTO switch.

The way to check it would be to follow the cable from the PTO switch to the verbs case, put a multimeter on it, and see if it's getting liquid. Check the old PTO switch while you're at it. If it's honourable, then it's manifestly, not the switch.

The cable may be cut, or the plug from the PTO switch into the electric clutch may be loose or corroded. Pull the plug, clean the contacts near a little sandpaper, and plug it support in and jiggle the plug placidly to make a moral contact.

It's probably just for a while corrosion, especially if it works intermittently.
