my stoner friends burnt a huge whole contained by my carpet i covered with a rug but i necessitate to fix it before my mom sees it and kill me
U need to find some stuff in the house that is equal as the carpet. Somewhere no 1 notice. Cut it equal size as the burn and use construction glue to glue it fund in. U must cut the burnt peice out first. Match one and the same size in. How bigs the hole?
Sorry, but you can't fix it, unless you wanna buy new hearth rug.
You could always pretend you have no perception how it got there or voice you dropped a candle but it went out once it hit the carpet.
I've repaired hundreds of cigarette burn holes in commercial hearth rug as a maintenance engineer within hotels. There is a tool we called a "cookie cutter" that allows you to cut and remove the burned spot and replace it with a cut from a worthy piece or area. The tool is precise and you can match pattern if you are careful. The replacement circle is glued surrounded by with latex carpet glue. You need to find a sympathetic carpet installer who have one or buy one yourself from a carpet tool supplier. It might be better if you told your Mom what happened, enjoy a professional repair it and cover the cost yourself. I think your Mom will be happier if you are honest and responsible rather than ambiguous. Go all over the carpet (assuming it is pile and you enjoy a lot if not sorry) and verbs out one piece and brush over the carpet.. corners and such places nobody would notice one little strand every few foot missing - then make sure adjectives the black nasty stuff is gone and it "feels" uniform lest any body's bare foot feel something is amiss, and try to weave your carpet pickings surrounded by with some sort of non rigid glue... lone works on small areas though good luck
Answers: Look to see if there are any scraps of hearth rug left over from when the carpet be installed and cut a square around the burn mark and then a cut a square of the bit to fit in to it. Use carpet cassette to but the scrap in as a patch. Make sure to read the instructions on the video and do not get the type that requires a steamer. Try this link for step by step photos: http://www.diynetwork.com/diy/fc_carpets... Also if near are no scraps you may be able to walk to a carpet store or Home Depot with a indication and get a remnant.
you own to get it professionally fixed no other way sorry you are motionless when she come
