The bottom element on our hose down heater is stuck. We tried everything and cannot bring ot even loose.
Any suggestions?

Answers:    What are you using to remove it? There is a socket made just for removing the constituent. If your using the wrong thing - close to a wrench - than you will have a thorny task ahead of you. The socket will fit over the appendage of the element and will allow you to put adequate torque to remove the element. Even near the right tool - it can be hard to remove.

If it is that rusted contained by place... the rest of the heater will soon be leak from a busted thru rust hole. The element will probably be 1/4 the cost of a brand unmarked heater... remember... you still enjoy one more item to worry in the order of going bad ... not to speak of the possibility 1 of 2 thermostats going unpromising. To remove the one that's stuck... try heating it next to a propane torch.
