My dad went on vacation and turned sour the chlorinator, the pool was full of algae, i tried scrubbing it but some of it be to stubborn. i have been count pool shock daily and been scrub the pool with little success of removing brown stains and black and green spots. i added sharp and salt and now the pool chemistry is right but stubborn algae wont scrub stale. draining pool, is not an option my pool is way to big (inground). it is a saline water pool. please give me insist on to get my pool walls clean again!
Answers: silver algeadyne might work..it coats the pool next to silver which kills algae...the other solution is to drain pool and give it a chlorine valet
When this happens to our pool I really super shock it. Hope you do not have mustard algae as shock will not find it. looks like you haven't tried chlorine yet? contribute it a go
