Stream grease burner - at what pressure should the burner turn stale.? ...

Answers:    3 PSI. - 7 PSI is a little bit lofty The relief spigot is set to open at 15 PSI. The pressure might be set for a moment higher to win steam to move out very long runs a bit faster.Personally I own never set pressures any higher than 5 PSI.There is usually a bit of run over after the burner shuts down but not ample to get anywhere close the relief spout pressure setting[when set at 7 PSI.] However with steam the complex the pressure the higher the amount of of stored strength that can be released if there is a system disappointment, therefore it is better to use the lowest pressure setting that will allow the system to do the duty.--Just to make things clear this answer is for residential steam boilers contained by the U.S.-I don't know about other countries resembling the U.K. that setting may be a normal setting within.
