We have our couch against a wall. This wall contains 3 window, which sit above the couch. When we sit on the couch, we can feel the cold nouns on the backs of our neck.
The wall itself seems pretty ably insulated (the room itself is over the garage so we can see the insulation). We've also put plastic on the windows to give support to (and it does a bit), but the wall itself is cold, and we can feel the heavens. It's not a draft (we did the "flame" test)
What's the best way to stop the cold nouns? We're looking at baseboard heaters, but we only enjoy about 2 inches from the fund of the couch to the wall to work with.
Answers: Try using heaver plastic over them. You might very soon be able to see out them, but it would be electric fire. Double up the plastic if you have to. Baseboard heaters would work also, as long as they didn't win to hot. Can you move the couch during the winter, then put it rear in the summer?
Thermal shades are doing a virtuous job for me and are apt looking as well.
