Some of the sockets surrounded by my house are gone down but others are. How can I fix this? Some of the electric sockets in my house hold stopped working yet...
Some of the electric sockets in my house hold stopped working yet others are working. The fuse box is not indicating any problem (i.e. adjectives fuses are still switched to on). Can anyone offer any warning? Should I be checking the wires in the sockets are adjectives still attached to the plates? Why would some of the sockets work & others wouldn't. Any advice is treatment. Answers: If you have a ohm meter you can check to see if the individual plugs enjoy power by setting the meter to 110 V. If the light plug does not own power check to see if the wire on the backside of the receptacle have power. If the wire on the backside of the receptacle does not own power go to the fuse box to see if power is going into and out of the circuit breaker. If it is the electrical receptacle that does not hold the power replace it. If it's breaker not showing power replace it. If it's the wire that does to the receptacle short power to the back of the plug phone an electrician to run a new rope to the electrical box.
If you're talking roughly speaking wall plug sockets then it may be a loose nouns from one plug to the next plug, especially if it's the type that pushes the flex into the back of the plug, these repeatedly come loose. To fix this problem take the cable that is pushed into the put a bet on of the plug and move it to the screw on the side. Positive is the copper colored screw, silver colored screw is negative/common and the green screw ground is ground. If after doing this there is still a power problem go to the solution at the top.
