So my hip bath sucks...? some how my tub got all plugged up and i tryed draino...

some how my tub got all plugged up and i tryed draino the plunger and a snake it wont unplugg. this ultimate time i plungged for like an hour, really a full hour! well a bunch of dirt similar to substance came up out of the drain and now it slowly drains. a partly of a tub drains in like two days. i try the plunger every once surrounded by a while along with the draino (liquid and the gel) but nothing is working. does anyone else know what i can do befor calling the rotto rooter guys?!
It is firm to use a plunger on a tub because of the overflow. Most of your pressure just blasts out the overflow.

The overflow has to be disassembled and plugged for the plunger to do much apt. A snake "should" do it but if it is so plugged you can't get it down there or it won't accomplish the plug it is probably time to call the router guys.

I had one pipe acting approaching that draining slow and couldn't get a snake down it far enough near the bends. It wouldn't advance past a particular point. It was accessable in the crypt so ended up cutting the pipe and it be plugged almost solid for about 10 feet.

I found out following it had been running slow for years.

It be such a stinky mess although I was capable of doing it myself I wish I had called the router guys.

Good Luck.
Bail the water out (with a 1 gallon ice cream container or a kitchen pot and dump down the toilet. It all goes to impossible to tell apart place. Do it till it is about all gone until that time you start using chemicals as they all just take dilluted in a tubful of water.
but, seeing how it is neglected, you could try this: Go to stove Get a pot or 2 and fill with marine and heat up to a boil - then clutch to tub and pour it down the drain like from as high as 2 foot up so it waterfall directly into the drain pounding that hot water surrounded by there. It may not happen right away next to the first pot, no matter, leave the hot hose down sit there and get the second pot and verbs the waterfall directly down the drain action. This hot dampen should melt its way thru the clog(which will be hackle, dirt, and soap) and force it down the pipes to the septic tank. No harm to the reservoir, no nothing. As it opens up consequently open the hot water thump and give another gallon or two of straight water down the drain.
Should be it.
go down within basement under tub you,ll see a trap take it apart to check if its clogged it,s a moon shaped pipe If it's that gross, I'd just phone the roto-rooter guys.

Remove pop-up drain and remove the hackle, or you can get a product called fluid fire drain cleaner, this will remove the hair. Be careful next to this product do not pour in tub, very fussy pour in drain, wear glasses and rubber gloves. You can buy soft fire drain cleaner at any hardware store. Read the instructions. We had that problem once. Turns out a baby washcloth somehow get down the drain. It took my husband quite a while to figure that one out.

Check to see where on earth the tub pipe goes. If it connects to any other lines try putting Draino there and using the pipe snake. Our house is really outdated, and all of our lines connect right under our house. So when the kitchen sink back up, we put Draino in the sink and the tub. It works!

If you can't get it unclog soon though, I would call a professional. Good luck.
Answers:    First of adjectives if you have cast iron drain pipes; please stop using the draino. It can inflict cast iron to corrode very nippy rate and soon you will have a large issue on your hand. Now the "dirt" thing is scaring me because when a largest line backs up you see sandy black dirt and sometimes toilet dissertation in the tub. The way to see this is if you flush the toilet the tub horizontal rises (if there is water surrounded by it). Now if this is not the case you have to remove the tub over flow plate and possibly the assembly. The procession only needs to be snaked till it hits the mainline. possibly 10-40 ft, depending on your house setup. Do not go to far because if you have roots surrounded by the mainline the smell cable may entangle in the roots and in a minute you have a stuck cable. The rule of thumb is to cable until the drain unclogs and consequently hit that spot over and over a few times.
