I was snowblowing next to my 2 stage, Ariens snowblower and ran over a shovel. I get the shovel out but the auger won't turn! The things that throw the snow out of the chute turn but the auger doesn't. The only time that it turns is when the gadget is off and you move it beside your hand. Is that

Answers:    I'm not habituated with this model but it sounds close to you may have broken a sheer pin.The solitary way to know for sure is run it apart or call a local repair shop and ask them.They probably could let somebody know you how much trouble it is to fix.

Otherwise you may own broken a shear pin in the drive from the engine to the auger drive. Really should singular be a shear bolt x 2. Let it snow , let it snow.........
