My smoke detector is located near the bathroom. When I appropriate a shower, the steam sets it off. Has anyone else have this experience?

yes they r not made 4 nouns close to bath or kitchen. did u read directions on box. they recount u were to put them? i put mine within bedrooms or near furnace and hose down heater, freshly move it a little it should be fine imo. the steam set them sour too much. hope u find this helpful.
