I have powerfully water and it smells obnoxious. Anytime someone takes a shower it smells of rotten eggs. However when your within the shower or using it at the faucet it smells like rotten meat??? We hold a water softner, fliter, and a brand brand new water electric fire. The water pressure also seem to be not be that great either. Could we possible entail to flush the lines? We poured bleach down the well, but the smell come right back.
Answers: A filtration system is not other necessary to remove the odor. The "rotten-egg" odor contained by your water comes from hydrogen sulfide gas - sulphur. Treatments available for this problem include: Chlorine Injection or Aeration. I found this site that explains alternatives -

or Google "wet smell sulfur solution" and you'll get lots of links.
Water Doctor prefers to use aeration as it is environmentally friendly and have no chemical by-products. Aeration is 100% effective and have the advantage of eliminate homeowner maintenance.
Years ago I lived contained by North FL and had river that smelled bad. We used to hold on to a gallon in the refrigerator to 'settle' and the smell would be in motion away. But in the shower it be just nearby - we used peppermint soap, that helped. I deduce if you want to get rid of it you necessitate a charcoal filter system.
