toilet is very slow to flush... (tank fill up fine, thats OK)

I think something is stuck....getting sort of stinky.....?
Tried the plunger several times and it has stopped it overflowing so far (thank god) but still fill up to the rim....... am I just not enthusiastic enough or can I use something else on it?
What ton a/c section should I hold for...
Answers:    You own something clogging the toilet passage bearing. You need to use a toilet snake since the plunger isn't working for you.

Maybe consider using a powerfull drain cleaner to dissolve blockage....contained by UK there is a variety called "Oneshot" that might work....but VERY strong so read instructions children!
