Singer sewing device model 413 hypodermic keep breaking, is that something I can fix myself?
Answers: What size needle are you using, what fabric, and how tons thicknesses? Are you pulling or pushing the fabric under the presser foot? Do the needles break as you're varying fabric thickness, resembling trying to go over the side seam of jeans while you're hemming? If you put in a spanking new needle and watch thinly in the bobbin case nouns as you turn the handwheel, does the needle hit some part of the bobbin overnight case or sewing hook?
If you're pushing or pulling, quit it. The feed dogs know how to move fabric. All you enjoy to do is steer.
If the needle is breaking while you're trying to go over a lump, afterwards you need a hump jumper or similar tool to height the presser foot while going over the lump.
If the needle is hitting any part of the workings below the needle plate, and the needle is fully up into the syringe holder of the machine, then you've get a timing issue, and you need to take it to the repair shop.
If the nozzle size or type is inappropriate for what you're sewing, you need to fix that.
it can be cause too if the material you are using to sow it with is to tacky. that already happened to me. Maybe a piece of needle is broken stale, remove needle plate & get a spike & dust it out.
