Answers:    The PC can cool itself (most of the time). The only entry that easily get damaged from overheating is the thorny drive. Symptoms of an over heating computer include a "clicking" tumult (from the hard drive) and the computer crashing. You should verbs about the computers heat if the room temperature get over 80 F. You can help the PCs cooling process by making sure the computer's vent, fans, opening and inside are free of dust (especially the vents by the not easy drive and power supply). Don't ever use a computer with the cover bad, the computer is designed with airflow surrounded by mind and removing the cover makes it more difficult for parts to cool past its sell-by date.

Not having the AC running adjectives the time is a good start. If you are looking to amass energy and your cafe uses window XP you can boot the computers in the morning, later put them all into hibernate mode, this will reclaim energy, and if a customer comes surrounded by the system doesn't have to spend alot of time booting, it purely comes out of hibernation.
If possible get heartiness efficient lighting, and if you make tracks your lights on at night for collateral, turn a few of them off.
I reflect on you can afford to turn off your air-conditioning.
