For awhile now I enjoy had an issue near my shower dripping after I shut it off by pushing surrounded by the single shower knob. Usually after ten minutes I push the knob in again and it shuts it completely bad. More recently it would constantly drip or sometimes it would simply barely run. It's be getting progressively worse. As of about 20 minutes ago the shower won't shut rotten at all....it is running as if someone is showering. (Don't verbs, I have shut the dampen off to the house so I'm not wasting water)

Our house be built in the 1970's and have all innovative plumbing. After doing some research I believe I just want to replace the cartridge (which I own located and already removed once to see exactly what I need). Is this truly the issue, or could it be something more?

By the way, it is a Moen.
Answers:    Its pretty assured to install. You need to wage attention to how the old one is contained by so that you do not reverse the hot and cold. The new one may come next to lube, if not you can achieve a small tube of plumbers grease at the store, and just apply a small amount to the rubber parts of the trial one to help it walk in slickly. Hope it helps.
yes. specifically most likely the issue here.
i have the same problem something like 6 months ago. that fixed my problem
