I seem to be having an issue near my shower. Everytime I turn on the shower, it flips the tripswitch from my electricty. I don't know what's up with it. I think conceivably water got into the largest circuit and is overloading the entire system, causing the tripswitch to go. Anyone own any idea what's wrong.
Thanks
Slugs ;)
Unless there is a huge bang when it trips, after you have some damp cause an earth leakage idiosyncrasy, tripping an RCD.
It's probably corrosion on the element. Replace the shower.
Having some problems here Slugs, extremely little info on which to base an answer. Is this a standard tank type dampen heater system, or a tankless instant system? Are you talking just about turning on the hot water or just even the cold?? How contained by the world would water get into the prevalent circuit box to overload the system and just cause problems when you turn on the shower?/ Need more info, but if your shower is an electric one later I would say the problem is the element have gone short circuit . If you have the equipment to test it & depending on the age of the section it can be replaced
do you have an electric hot wet heater? might be a place to start looking. Nice, sell the house
NOT ALLOWING WATER OUT OF SHOWER HEAD QUICK ENOUGH SOAK IN VINEGAR FOR AN HOUR MAYBE Call an electrician
Answers: Turn off the electric to the shower, remove the cover, and check the wires on the terminal block are tight. A impossible contact can cause the fuse to trip. If all is economically, remove the shower head, and switch on shower to see if you have a free flow of river. at the same time clean any refuse or scale in the shower pave the way. If wiring in shower is okay, consequently check the wiring in the electric neon switch.
call for a plumber.
