Should you run your fan or lower the upper air conditioning temp. for a lower bill?
Any electric appliance that change temperatures use the most electricity. Fans use a lot smaller number. The bigger the temp change the more energy used also.
So turing ac down or rotten and using fans would help your bill seriously.
I assume by "lower" you suggest warmer so it cools less.
The a/c will draw far more power than the fan. Fans give you more even circulation in the house.
So run fan and then raise temp on a/c for lowest cost.
Answers: Lowering the A/C temperature will make the A/C work harder/longer and increase your electric bill. Running spare fans will circulate air by you, making you be aware of cooler with a much less cost impact on your electric bill.
raise the temp adn turn on the fans.
