It only just depends on where it is contained by relation to walls. It effects the swing of the door. Are people going to be "stepping around the door". Don't forget to examine the hinge. By how you attach the hinges, you prefer if you want the door to open surrounded by toward you or out toward the room you are entering... consider the size of the rooms. Also consider that if you have the door spread out out, someone could get hit by a swiftly exiting person.

If it is the Main Door of the house, it must open inside, so that you can push it to close from inside if ou do not want the intruder to come within.

all bedroom doors must sympathetic inside, which wall or side allows more heavy furniture to come slickly in the room.

The manipulate of the door is placed at any side that is convenient for the house owner. Some may use the gone hand and some may use the right paw.

If the room is very small, a small double door can be made and one door can be open at a time.

Sometimes the bathroom may be small so doors are placed to open out.
But the door of the "handicapped bathroom" ALWAYS open out.
if the pujaroom is small you may have a small double door beside the handle contained by the middle.

Hope this answers your question.
Answers:    Totally depends on the layout of the room. Generally a door is hinged nearest to the wall, which takes the least possible space out of the room. There is no way to generalize, as the rooms inside a given house have different layouts. You will find several LH and RH doors contained by any house or building.
