My rental unit does not have a stove. Is this something that should be included or what?
that is something you should hold checked on before you signed the lease. Some do. Some dont. Same for washers and dryers and refrigerators. Depends on the landlord and the lease. I hold a friend who rented a house that had the stove but she had to seize the fridge.
I don't presume landlords are required to furnish anything if they don't want to. Generally they do provide these things to make the apartment more user friendly for whoever moves in. Plus they can use it to charge more for the rent. Usually, if the apartment be listed for rent in the dissertation as a furnished apartment, that means the appliances are furnished. If they list it as unfurnished, after you would have to furnish your own appliances. In either suitcase, you must have looked at the place before you rented it. Why didn't you ask something like it then? If I were you, I'd ask the proprietor why you don't have one. Maybe they would provide one for you if you were liable to pay a little extra for the rent. Yes, it should include a stove, especially if it already have a fridge.. Stove, Fridge, A/C are expected, I don't know if they are mandatory, but expected.
Plus it will be easier to rent if you have the appliances..
