When I had my fresh a/c furnace installed last winter the installer said that he keep his blower on all the time to minister to circulate and clean the upper air. He also said it put less strain on the blower from turning on and bad and actually prolongs its life span. It sounds like a apposite plan, but is that a myth? Wouldn't you think the blower wouldn't second as long being on 24/7? Also next to hig gas and electricity prices; is it cost effective to hold it on 24/7? We do have three cats, one dog so the cleaner nouns does appeal to me.
Answers: The advantages are more uniform temps in the different rooms and cleaner nouns. As far as prolonging the life of the admirer, that is rot. The motor is designed for a set amount of operating time. Also, the motor uses electricity so it will cost you a few dollars every month. Unless you savour paying higher utility bills, put it on auto.
