One window of my 20 yr matured house has dampen condensation inside its two glass pieces. I am thinking of drilling one or two tiny holes on the inside cup piece so that the water vapor can come out.
I realise that these holes may decrease the insulation of the window goggles, as window company told me to replace it. But afterwards again, cold air can other come inside my house through my kitchen exhaust vent and chimney?
Answers: Drilling holes may make the problem worse but if your single other option is to replace the glass, give it a shot. I'd drill the holes and consequently use to heat gun to heat the window and the inner space. Once the moisture have been driven out, I'd stamp the tiny holes with epoxy or some other objects that I could take rotten as needed to drive out any more moistute that accumulates.

Apparently nearby are companies that specalize in defogging window so you may have another way out other than replacing the pane

Dual pane, insulated windows can't be repaired. Over time the stamp gets broken and loses the vaccum contained by between the panes. The individual solution is replacement.
