we are moving into a house w/ a septic take next to an aerator we were lately wondering if it is alright to flush tampons down the toilet? we don't want any problems down the line. appreciation
Answers: Don't do that. Even if a product (such as baby wipes) say it is safe to flush it - don't! If you do flush the tampons, the man that comes to pump out the septic reservoir will scold you. I be SO embarrassed. After that experience I academic my lesson. I lived there another 13 years and never have to have the reservoir pumped out again.
