I live within the pacific northwest, and found a good cedar privacy barrier at Home Depot. I'm sure you can find similar in your nouns with a simple internet scour. The 6' high paling came contained by 8' panels and take two 8' 4x4 posts. Each panel and one post cost around $80, so your estimate for materials is $10 per linear foot. I used a hand auger to drill the holes, but it took 1/2 to 1 hour for respectively hole. Depending on your soil type, energy smooth, and funding, you might want to hire a power auger. If you are going to stain the fence, one gallon of stain will cover five panel.
