Screw manager looks close to inverted regular screw. Just a strait shaft, what do you use to remove it? The screw head on a bolt is approaching an inverted flathead screw....

The screw head on a bolt is approaching an inverted flathead screw. It is too small to grip with pliers and turn. It is clearly a specialty bolt. It's on a vacuum pump. Anyone see anything like this? What do I requirement to remove/turn it?

Thanks,

Ken
Had a quick look for "Tamperproof" & "warranty screws"...nothing.
But, hold on.....why not win a bolt with shank same diameter as size as pave the way of your bolt, then cut a slot surrounded by it. If iths a slightly wider slot than a single hacksaw blade.....use 2 blades together.....

Why a straight bar, inverted regular screw remover logically.
Just kidding. If you enjoy the space take a hack-saw blade and cut a grove into the top after use a flat head screw driver.
Otherwise you may hold to drill it out and retap it. You can get hit & dye for small threads relatively cheap at home depot.
Answers:    you may need an allen switch. Even try the tip of a tea/table spoon.
