my electric guitar i scratched it on the zip on my trousers when playing. and it in recent times tour a scratch contained by it and its the back of the guitar and it have a really nice black finish on it. and it does have scratch all the posterior but you can only see contained by sun light but theres 2 really big ones u can see. so do you know how to receive rid of it, thanks
Answers: Most guitars are heavily lacquered & unless the score is extremely deep , might consider auto rubbing compound &
try to buff it out.
There are colored auto wax that might help.
An frail trick used on boats w/ black hulls is to use black shoe polish.
Trying to fill surrounded by deep scratch & touch up painting will stand out on a reflective black finish.
