I am considering purchasing a home with a sand point ably. I have not hear much about them and wondering what caring of flow rate they get and are they reliable. Any information would sustain.
Answers:    I had a sand point once,it is objectionable stuff. Emagine water 25 foot below the suface being poluted near lawn cemical and animal debris run off. The sea you will get is ground sea that is practical the surface. It isn't good or heathy and am surprised it would intervene inspection. Plus where I live you can't simply pull them out when they clog, and they do, you must own them sealed . Good luck, but I would leave behind unless you can hook up to city water or drill your own powerfully ,$10,000 or more.
I agree with aj, shallow well are not healthy. too much contamination can parasite down, is the home also on a septic system ? If so that is a hugely big reason not to buy since the tick field on the septic will contaminate the resourcefully.
