The Best Buy tech said it was a impossible fan or computer board. The fan work when the coils aren't frozen and it doesn't seem similar to the computer....everything else on the fridge works.
When the tech used a heat gun to soften out the freezer and fridge coils then it worked clearly again.
What would cause the coils to freeze up? Bad sensors?
The defrost bimetal is most likly discouraging...common within samsungs
Few things, you have a filter in the antifreeze. You may hold to get a weld job done and the copper tubing replaced.
You involve an antifreeze recharge.
The coils and drip pan is dirty. Completely verbs out the fridge. Vacuum the coils and clean out the container underneath the fridge,, then try it out again and see if at hand is still a problem. Just to note, they brand things now a days to break down after nearly 10 years, and to fix it costs more than just buying a unsullied one. It's all a conspiracy to FORCE consumers to buy untried appliances. I mean if it's gonna cost 350 to 400 bucks to fix a 10 year dated fridge you are more likely to pony up the extra 200 bucks to buy a brand spanking new one, right? Think about it.
Answers: Call a repairman from somewhere else besides Best Buy, we have the same item happen to our fridge and it be some kind of switch, will be cheaper than a bright fridge, I had to thaw out out the freezer section near a hair dryer several times up to that time the repairman could get out, it be some kind of switch that controls the frost free if I remember right....can't remember what it is call, but this sounds like what is wrong beside yours.
