this one has me baffled, my dryer would not fry so i took it apart, when the element be out it would work when screwed back surrounded by place it would not,so i tested everything and the only entry i could think rotten was the lofty and low thermostats,i changed them and it worked for a day or so, later on one load it practically melt the clothes then shut past its sell-by date and the timing dial barely moved, immediately it won't start so i checked the fuse in the stern and that is desperate so today i am going to change thatbut what if it works again and burns the clothes and shuts bad again, any ideas.i am a better than average handyman but this one have me going in cycles i connote circles, help.
Answers:    Look for a blockage surrounded by the dryer vent. Disconnect the vent at the machine and turn it on to see if here is a blockage in the contraption. Check the tube and the outside vent.

good luck
I believe (I'm not sure) that within are 2 high factor thermostats in most dryers. You may want to find the other one and test it near an ohm meter for continuity
