After every thunderstorm my bedroom smells like burning plastic even though nothing is turned on to be precise plugged in and the light is not on. It's the with the sole purpose room in the house that smells this way. There are three outlets - one have a TV plugged in and the other has a small storm lantern plugged in, the third outlet is empty. The electrical box is also contained by that room. And I have a ceiling light. What could be the problem? My innkeeper says it's a power surge but I don't know if he knows what he is discussion about. Is there something serious that could be wrong? Thanks to anyone beside any real knowledge on this topic...
Answers: The smell is ozone, maybe it is getting more outside air than the rest of the apartment
