I live in an apartment. We have abundant roaches & centipedes.
My boyfriend bought the roach traps where it has food & the roach brings it to his little kith and kin & then they supposedly die.
BUT i wanted to take the roach motel or the ones where its sticky, because i know those work really good, they even capture other bugs maybe it would work for the centipedes too. It seems resembling the food one wouldnt be as efficeitn or once they die we are goign to have to find them which would be EXTREMELY hard. Then we will hold dead roaches around attracting more bugs.
Which one is better. We got spray & going to acquire the apartment sprayed.
BUT
WHICH ROACH TRAPS ARE THE BEST?
BRAND? we got raid
AND THE ONE WITH FOOD THEY BRING BACK TO THEIR FAMILY OR THE STICKY ONES??
HE WONT BUY BOTH & I HOPE HE RETURNS THE ONE HE BOUGH.
Thank you sooooooooooo much!
know this: never smuch or step on a cockaroach, because their liquids and body fluids transport off almost an "alert signal" almost to other roaches, so for every cockaroach you squish, expect about 100 more YOU CANT DO NOTHING I LIVE IN NEW YORK CITY ! OR ASK THE SUPER TO SPRAY STUFF AT UR HOUSE
hire an exterminator but instead of sticky traps try cassette rolled up backward and put in different locations found out this years ago by accidently departure masking tape contained by a corner and went to clean sooner or later and seen dead roaches on it tried it underneath my sink too and worked I still had to hire exterminator but everything you can do is that much faster you can rid yourself of those pest. if i were you i would telephone a exterminator.. roaches and centipedes both carry bacteria around. its best to nickname someone who can eliminate the sourrce. you dont want to be guessing and buying different things.
Answers: It is your landlords responsibility to exterminate adjectives the connected units including yours. Treating only one component will not get rid of roaches. They must all be treated at alike time.If the infestation is really bad, they will have to be treated more than once.
In the stumble, you can drive in the country, and find "hedgeapples". They are a knobby, very sticky NON-EDIBLE, poison fruit of the dither tree. Use a very cheap knife (you'll involve to throw it away, the sticky stuff won't come off), and there is a milky sap inside. Simply put pieces behind the fridge, lower than the stove, and various places where pets and babies can't attain to them.
I lived in an old mobile home court, and the tenant used them religiously. NO ONE IN THE CHEAP MOBILE HOME COURT HAD ROACHES! There were 64 trailers from the 60's and 70's there. Look them up on the internet to see pictures. They are roughly the size of a grapefruit, knobby on the outside, and a bright, pea green color. It's also a natural poison, so no odors, or gases into the house that could be poison to humans. They mostly grow around my house in older fencerows. (Southern Missouri, Northern Arkansas).
Also, buy the motels, and within another area, put a 1/4 teaspoon of plain cornmeal onto some double sided tape in close proximity the edge of cabinets. They can't process the cornmeal, and they'll pass it to their nests where others will die. Works on ants too. By removing the food and water sources, and a honourable cleaning with amonia and water, you should know how to discourage them. Don't ever leave fruit out, cookie jars on cabinet, scraps, dirty dishes, etc, on the cabinets. Do put away items similar to flour, sugar, spices, etc, in the refrigerator.
Good luck!
