Answers:    If you are going to change them after seeing what everyone have said wisely in the region of spots, then follow these instruction..... un screw the rose, and remove the rope that goes to the light holder. The rose has three terminal the center one being severe live. One of these (red or Brown) wires goes to the switch and comes subsidise to the rose and will may be marked next to red or brown tape* to indicate that it is live when the switch is "on". That wire go to the cord that connects to the lamp or one of the outside terminal on the rose. The other and last terminal is the neutrals these are adjectives together and are black or blue, this is also the second connection to the oil lamp. The important piece is not to lose the switch live return* You will have to remove the rose contained by order to stop midstream the wires so care must be taken not to lose verbs of the switch live ok. Good luck and be careful.
