our hard wood floors are primed to be replaced, but we aren't going to re-do them. I just want to verbs the wood out and paint the cement. what all am i going to hold to do to get the cement prepared?
Answers:    is your frloor authentic hardood or is it laminate? was it nail down or glued ? if you enjoy laminate floors it is sinple juat take out the stub board from one wall and start unsnaping it row by row, it you have hardwood that have been nail down the easiest way i found is to cut it next to a skill saw in section and remove it that way adjust your skill saw depth in recent times a 1/8 smoler then the actual thikness if the floor, entry you might hit the nails contained by some spots and damage the blade, and if it is actualy glue to the floor well time to take in shape because you will own a hard charge ahead of you a lot of scrapeing and hamering etc... freshly get a immense duty scraper from your local hardware store like the ones they use on roofs and start by cuting out section and then removing the section anyway possible hammer an chisel crowbar etc...
obedient luck
Cement will suck up paint if you don't use a good sealer.
