Removal and Installation of an Over-the-Oven Microwave? I zonked my 30" wide microwave out, and need to take another....

I zonked my 30" wide microwave out, and need to take another. It is a GE(a)R Spacesaver. It looks like it fits into a metal sleeve and is held there near screws. Is that really the case? How intricate is it to remove such a unit and replace it? How standard are other microwaves to fit in the channel?
Microwave are all standard width of 30" Most predictable you will have to change the wall mount and drill unknown holes in the upper cabinet for mounting holes and the cord. To remove the old one at hand are usually 2 screws in the upper cabinet toward the front that hold it within place some brands have a screw in the vent above the door. Remove the screws unplug the micro and tip forward then heave off of the rear mount. adjectives 30" wide will fit there check the first showing of your existing vent. It held only with 4-6 screw to the cabinet at the to and to the wall behind with a plate. That's adjectives to it. Purchase a new vent to fit the new microhood. devout luck
Most beneath cabinet mirowaves are attached to a bracket attached to the wall and are supported by two bolts through the top cabinet. To remove, unplug the unit, then loosen the two top bolts (in the over organizer cabinet) have a helper hold the element as the bolts are removed, as the front of the oven will drop. Together, lower the front of the oven while lifting the rear off of the wall bracket.

I hold never replacecd one oven with another, so I don't know if manufacturers standardize mounts from one component to another, but installation can be a pain. I've installed a few,and the paper template provided never seem to line up properly for me!

Ducted vent can be another problem, but if your unit doesn't vent to the outside, don't worry something like it.
Answers:    I believe all you have to do is elevate a little and slide it out. There might be screws holding it surrounded by - it has been fairly a while since I installed mine. The width is standard, the mount might have to revision with a new microwave.
typically the bolt holes are the same. 3/8" diameter - 10 1/4" from the back wall and 13" departed and right from center. The back plates are all for a moment different. I have hung probably around 300 microwaves
