food doesn't seem to be cold. when I keep the setting on 5 afterwards the frost starts to disappear, when I turn it up then the frost starts to build up,
When you say by the lines, this sounds like a fridge explicitly not frost free. If that's the case some frost build up is going to be normal lower than humid conditions. I don't understand where the moisture is located. If it is a fridge you hold to defrost check the coils underneath for dirt. it sounds like you have a problem next to the defrost cycle of your frig there are to many components to describe here, best if you telephone an appliance repair before it craps out completely and you loose your food
It sounds to me close to your circulation fan has gone out. This is the adherent that pulls cold air from your freezer to your refrigerator to keep the refrigerator section cold. It could also be the defrost heater is malfunctioning as previously posted. I would call someone and enjoy it checked. Good luck. HVAC Tech.: The auto defrost isn't working for some reason. For right now you have need of to thaw it out, unplug it, remove the contents and let it stand plain for 24 hours. There will be water to clean past its sell-by date the floor. The defrost timer might have gone bad, or the mullion space heater might have gone bad.If you want it to auto defrost again you will own to have a technician take a look at it. You could also defrost it yourself roughly speaking every two or three weeks.
Answers: Check the door seal to craft sure it is sealing properly. Also check the door for proper fit, (has it been moved just this minute?). If the light is not cutting stale, could cause the problem. Remove the bulb and see if it works properly, if so check the actuation of the light switch.
