We have a GE side by side fridge its singular about 3-4 years out-of-date the water column that runs from the hindge to the water/ice spicket freezes up we can open the door put a small electric oven blowing on the inside of the door and thaw it out next to in 24 hours it is froze again we own turned the freezer down as far as we can (till icecream is soft) and it still freezes I have tryed taking the door panel apart to see whats up but it is adjectives crimped together including the plastic shelves to the metal under the rubber seal and our house is not kept cold and its insulated well So any other design
Answers: Two ideas for you:
Since it used to work OK, possibly something has changed. Any planning what might have changed?
Is the hose line that feed to the fridge in an inside wall, or does it run underneath the house in the crawl space? It's possible that the sea feeding the fridge is impressively cold to start with.
also, probably you need to bite the bullet and tolerate the fridge get to room heat. take adjectives the food out of it, put it in another fridge or outdoors if it's cold ample, and let the fridge thaw to room temperature. drain the smudge and then start from cut into. I'm thinking that part of the file is frozen that never gets fully thaw.
Also, do you use it often satisfactory to keep the hose flowing? Once or twice a day?
