Rain Water leak into home? I am looking for some advice on how to find a local...

I am looking for some advice on how to find a local contractor to locate where on earth the rain hose down is getting in, and repair it. I enjoy looked from taking off the siding, re caulking the skylight, etc. with no luck. Water is getting inside, the drywall is showing mischief. I have no impression where or how to find a reputable personage to solve the problem, I was let go from work and can't afford to get taken assistance of. Thanks so much! Tom ~ florence, KY.

Answers:    Sounds to me like the race who installed the deck did not flash on and behind the ledger board. There should be a drip boater installed directly on top of the deck board"ledger" attaching it to the house. The course of siding running along the bottom of the deck will own to be removed and check to see if it is flashed. In many cases that is to say the problem. If it is, it should be relatively cheap to fix.
