Rain and Paint? I was painting the veranda railings and then it begin to rain,...

I was painting the veranda railings and then it begin to rain, i was nearly 1 and a half hours in, I checked the weather it said NO precipitation. SO i didn't get 3 hours at least to permit the paint cure to the metal, will the paint bubble and that i have to restart again, or will it be fine? The rain have stopped now and i whipped of the nouns and it is still sticky, Or can i wait another day and repaint everything
Answers:    It really depends on the humidity and temp during the constrained dry time you had. Some paints can dry enough within that short of a time to be OK, others not so well.

Let it dry for the full cure time (overnight), and if you see visible problems tomorrow, you might as resourcefully re-do those areas. It'll look better and last longer. Use a wire scraper to remove any bubbled parts, and recuperate those areas with paint. The color should blend fine, so don't worry roughly stripping areas that did not get ruined. If its just slight discoloration that you see the subsequent day, first try wiping the surface, you might draw from lucky and find its a surface stain. Otherwise, a quick top-coat over any large surfaces should do the trick.

You did the right article by removing as much water as you could. Sorry to hear the weather working against you!
