I think I stipulation to clean the bugger - any philosophy how to do it? The head is a touch bit bigger than the palm of my hand. Seems similar to the water have slowed down and there's a chalky type residue around the holes.

Answers:    Be careful near that CLR method. It could remove the coating off the shower skipper.
Just remove the shower head. You own a blockage in the final of the shower head. There will be a peak under that and in recent times clean it of the mineral deposits.
If you suggest the CLR would be easier and do not care what the shower director looks like later just lift some CLR and place it in a bowl and place the shower skipper in it for a few second. You do not even need to steal the shower head stale. Just place it in bowl and put the bowl up to shoer boss. Becarefull not to spill any onto yourself or clothing. Good luck

the chalky risidue might be from har water build-up. ive get the same problem. get hold of some CLR, take stale the shower head and verbs away! i think adjectives you would have to do is freshly stick it in a bowl for a few minutes afterwards rinse and repeat if needed.
