Questions to ask the inspector and the mud jacker please...? I am helping my mom figure out which house to buy. ...

I am helping my mom figure out which house to buy. The house that she like the most has some settlement issues on one corner and most expected needs to be mud jacked. Although the settlement is within one corner, it effects that entire end of the house, nearby are cracks in the underground store walls and some of the walls upstairs. The 'bend' is in the breadth of the house paralell to the way the joist run, so I'm not sure if the joists are bent or straining, but it is patently straining the 'plane' of the the first floor, maybe the roof? We are going to enjoy an inspection and an estimate from a mud jacking company.

If you have any experience next to this any advice on how to approach this and any question you know we should ask would be much appreciated! Thanks!
Answers:    Run, do not walk away from this one. It's going to pilfer more than a mud jacker for this one.
